I used this company for a 2 story extension in 2022-23. It was a fairly big project with new building work and also refurbishing existing property with new wiring and plumbing. Josh was very helpful- he is very much hands on doing the job. He always responded timely to queries. He even arranged for a structural engineer to step in urgently when my architect was unable to find one. He was always willing to help above and beyond his role. Even after the job was finished and property handed over he has stayed in touch and has ensured that any unforeseen issues are dealt with.

We hired the company to do some work in our utility room which had lots of damp and required insulation on the floor, roof and wall. The result is excellent and Josh and his team run the extra mile to also help us with other little things in our house. Additionally, when a small issue arose after finishing the job, they quickly attended to resolve it. The timescale we had initially agreed went slightly over but this is partly due to our holidays and the weather.

Jos and his CKG Homes team did a great job with our outhouse and garden renovations! From start to finish I can’t fault him and his team. They went above and beyond at every hurdle and the whole project was finished on time and in budget. I would highly recommend him for any major projects.

Jos is a very well manner individual. He never promises in what he can’t deliver. He is lean and very tidy. He is a very professional trademan. I will be using his services alot more.

CKG completed a two storey extension and full house refurbishment. From the initial meeting discussing the project through to finishing; they were professional and reliable.. All trades on site were extremely skilled and polite. We were kept updated throughout the project and the team delivered exceptional quality in everything that was done in the house. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Everything was done to a high standard and when the property threw up issues as old properties do !!! CKG found a solution and sorted everything and kept the build on track. Definitely recommend.

Josh and his team are spectacular at what they do! They carried out a complete 2 storey extension, loft conversion and general renovation at my family home. All work carried out was done in a timely manor with little to no disruptions. The best thing about the whole build was how clean and tidy the site was kept during the build as Josh would have any excess mess cleaned up almost instantly! Amazing from start to finish was a huge project complete gut and reno, we had loft conversion chimney removals, 8mt kitchen extension garage extention with side and up. The whole project was huge and jos was amazing.

CKG Homes designed and built an extension on the ground floor with a well designed entrance/hall, study room, bathroom with full plumbing and shower etc and a large kitchen to the rear with a fully fitted kitchen and floor tiling. The overall work contract was completed within the 12 weeks agreed deadline which ended at the end of February 2025. Overall the work was of high standard. I found the company to be very professional. The company employees were all fully qualified and were generally very friendly and helpful too. I would be happy to use this company again if I ever need to.

We recently had soffit work done on our property, and we are extremely pleased with the results. The team demonstrated excellent craftsmanship, paying close attention to detail and ensuring a high-quality finish. They were punctual, reliable, and kept us informed throughout the process. We recently had a garden wall constructed between our property and our neighbour’s, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. The quality of their work was exceptional, the team was incredibly reliable, and their communication was top-notch. They ensured every detail was perfect, and the end result is a sturdy, aesthetically pleasing wall that fits perfectly within the tight space and existing wall.

New roof installed. Gave great advice. Installed new loft windows and new insulation. Finished to high quality including around a difficult dormer section. Would recommend to anyone.

Simply the best builder I have worked with. Each member of his team are highly skilled and professional. Jos has very high standards and will always come and inspect the work and never cuts corners. You feel you are working with someone who has your best interests at heart. He expects the standard of the work to be done as if it was his own home. There has even been times when I myself was happy with the work but he got the work to be redone as it didnt meet his high standards! In addition to the high standard of work completed, I have never met a builder so easy to get hold off!!
